| Does the railway allow dogs on its trains? |
The railway does allow well behaved dogs on its trains.
However if you intend to travel on the combined train and boat then advanced booking is essential as the cruise company only allows 2 dogs per sailing. |

| Can we visit the railway when trains don't run? |
The station at Aylsham is open daily, even on days the railway does not operate trains. On days the railway does not run a train service the Souvenir Shop and Whistlestop Restaurant is normally open from 09:30 until 16:30. |

| Do you take advanced bookings for Wheelchair users? |
The railway will always endeavour to carry wheelchairs and their users. Whilst a booking is not always essential, it does help if you know when you are thinking of travelling, to phone before hand to make sure that no other wheelchair passengers are already booked.

| Your fares page does not mention about special events. Do you charge extra for special event days? |
For special events our normal fares apply, except that under three's travel free (normally under fives at all other times). However prices for Santa Specials are normally different from standard fares. We regret that discount vouchers are not valid on special event days.

| Your fare for the train and boat package, is it really only the one price? |
The all inclusive fare for the train and boat package is just the price shown on our fares table. This includes the return train journey and 90 minute cruise around the norfolk Broads. The only extra to pay would be if you have anyone who can't walk the distance from our Wroxham Station to the boat yard and you would like us to book a taxi to transfer you from one to the other.

| I want to travel on the combined train and boat package, Do I have to book? |
Whilst there may be seats available on quieter days, the railway always advise it is better to book in advance so that your seats on a particular cruise can be reserved.

Number of Adults or Senior Citizens,
Number of Children,
Number of Infants,

A method from which we can take full payment.

| Do you take advanced booking for cycles? |
The railway will always endeavour to allow cycles on the train but as they are carried in same space allocated for wheelchair passengers, it may sometimes be necessary to not allow cycles on a particular train. We therefore do not take advanced booking for cycles. |

| How far is Aylsham town from the station? |
The railway station at Aylsham is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Monday is market day (unless Monday is a bank holiday when market day is a Tuesday). |

| I want to travel on the combined train and boat package but don't think I shall manage the walk. What do you suggest? |
The railway will if required try to arrange a taxi to take you from Wroxham station to the boat yard. The cost of such taxi will not be paid for by the railway company. |

| What gauge is the railway? |
The railway is fifeteen inch gauge (381mm). It is of narrow gauge appearance with comfortable enclosed carriages which you will find it easy to get in and out. |

| Your Driver experience course pages mentions undated vouchers? |
If when purchasing a driver experience course you do not book a date for the course then an undated voucher will be sent. Such a voucher would be valid for up to 18 months. A booking must be made during this period or any monies paid will be lost. It does not matter if the course date choosen is beyond the 18 month period. |

| Do you have Coach or Car parking? |
At both Aylsham and Wroxham stations there are large coach and car parking facilities. These are FREE to those visiting the railway. Aylsham also has designated disabled spaces right by the entrance to Aylsham station. There is also very small car parks at Buxton and Coltishall, mainly for those who wish to use the footpath only. |
