The Bure Valley Railway DVD
The Bure Valley Railway are pleased to announce a new dvd has been produced about the line.
Filmed by Argus productions, this dvd shows a gentle journey, through the spectacular countryside of Norfolk and explores the surrounding villages along the line. It is also gives an informative view of the railway.

A History of the Bure Valley Railway
Back by popular demand is the book "A History of the Bure Valley Railway" by Adrian Vaughan.
This book tells the story of how the railway between Wroxham to Aylsham came to be built way back in 1864 and opening in 1880. This is followed by the story of the rebuilding by Broadland District Council of the railway from Wroxham to Aylsham in 1990 and its great success since. The book is illustrated with historic photographs, colour and black & white and several maps and a facsimile timetable of 1913.
